What our membership is saying!
I’ve been a member for almost eight years now. I joined the club two years while I was pier fishing along the Lake Erie shoreline before I even had a boat. The knowledge I was gaining gave me confidence to hit the water running when I purchased my first boat. Now I’m putting at the learning to great use. I’m constantly using the Circle platform to watch or listen to all of Lance’s seminars. The ability to find them easily over and over is a time saver. I share as much information on the platform as I can and ask questions when I I get stumped. I know there is still a ton to learn but I’ll be a life member of this group. The confidence and knowledge the group offers is encouraging me to jump into the tournament world in the next year or so.

I got to spend the day with Lance Valentine today on the Detroit River. It was a fun introduction to the Detroit River for me as I haven't been to it before today. Lance shared a lot of information that would have taken years to figure out on my own. If your looking to learn the Detroit River and shorten your learning curve this is absolutely a day for you to do that.

I have been a member of the group for over 5 years. I have learned a lot about walleye, where they live, where to catch them and much more. I have become better at catching walleye on the Detroit River, Lake Erie and Lake Huron. I watch the classes put out every month and learn more to include how to use my sonar and fishing where there are catchable fish. The sonar can let you know where the fish are, what depth and if they are active. Becoming a member of this club was the best thing for me to learn what I needed to know to catch fish, it is truly the best club for learning and meeting new fishing friends.

When I moved to Michigan, I knew there was world class walleye fishing here but it’s a different landscape from where I grew up. I tried learning what I could through the free resources on the different social media sites but quickly realized that there is so much conflicting information out there. I’m glad that I found Lance’s teaching platform and focused in here to sort out the noise that’s out there. I’ve appreciated learning the little things here that would’ve taken years to figure out on my own. For example, the position of your big motor makes a difference for boat control when vertical jigging. Or, the lack of perfect arches on your graph is telling you something about fish movement. Also, the network of anglers here is incredible. I know the advice that I’ve received has saved me quite a bit by buying the right things the first time. It’s hard to put a price tag on having access to countless years of angling experience.

This is my second year in the Walleye Zone. I have learned so much and there is a ton more to learn. Lance is an amazing teacher. He explains it in simple terms that anyone can understand. The courses are organized in a way that builds upon what you learned in the prior lessons. Even though the Zone is based out of MI and I am in IL,the information still applies to my location as well. The other members are great, offering help along your journey when you have questions about the content. I will definitely be taking one of the on the water teaching sessions! Great job guys and thank you for what you do!

If you’re a walleye fisherman this site has a plethora of useful information. Lance Valentine has 30+ years of experience that he shares in video and audio formats. There’s in person real time Q and A and recorded content that you can access again and again plus posts from local and non local fishermen. I’ve been a member for two years and wish I had access to this info when I started fishing 60 years ago.
